Qualification
- B.A/B.Sc./B.Sc. Agriculture with minimum 50% marks.
- Second class Master degree with minimum 55% marks in Journalism and Mass Communication/Extension Education/Home Science Extension/Sociology.
DESIRABLE:
Candidate with knowledge of working on Microsoft Excel, who can travel extensively in villages throughout Punjab and interact with the farmers, will be preferred.
Another Important Information
Applications are invited on prescribed format for one post of Project Fellow @ 13000/- p.m. (fixed) provided in the ICSSR funded project “Access and Utilization of Online and Mobile Media vis-à-vis Agriculture among the Farmers of Punjab” CSS-73 (PC-6260) for the period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier. The forms can be obtained on any working day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the office of the undersigned.
The last date for the receipt of applications with a Bank Draft of Rs 200/- in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana in this office duly completed in all respects (with attested certificates) is August 06, 2018. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite attested documents will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for interview on August 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate intimation for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The amount of first full month of fellowship payable to the Project Fellow will be kept as security with the Head, Department of Agril. Journalism, Languages & Culture and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the fellowship after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposits the amount of one month’s fellowship. The Project Fellow resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or have to deposit one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
