Panjab University Applications are invited for one position of Senior Scientific Officer (purely on temporary hasis) under BioNEST, Panjab University, Chandigarh.Panjab University Recruitment Senior Scientific Officer .The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year extendable for another year on the basis of evaluation after completion of the first year. The post is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the program. There will be no financial liability on the part of the University, after the termination of the program. Essential Qualifications:
- PhD with experience/ M.Sc. in any subject of Life Sciences.
- Preference shall be given to candidates with relevant experience in independent project handling and entrepreneurship development programs.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in English (both spoken as well as written) Candidates with relevant experience of 3-4 years in project handling and entrepreneurship development programs will be preferred.
Work Profile: Managing and maintaining the incubation centre
- Enhancing the visibility of the Incubation centre
- Handling of scientific equipment and interpretation of results.
- Facilitating scientific liaison between incubates and faculty of PU
- Hand holding the incubatee in troubleshooting and providing necessary connections, wherever needed.
- Helping the budding entrepreneurs in developing proposals for raising funds.
Emoluments:
Rupees 55,000 (fixed) per month
